I have been here. This place need to be shut down.51’s on employers for allowing neglect to happen. The place stinks and the dogs I seen looked sick from the smell of urine and feces. I would not rate this 1 star. I was looking into adopting a dog but the smell got to me. The employees don’t even say hello to you. They don’t say anything about adoption. Just a cold shoulder. A woman just kept looking at a book. No cameras allowed due to living conditions and being a puppy mill. You can tell it’s a puppy mill by the way they care for these anorexic, malnourished dogs. You can also tell it’s a puppy mill due to the conditions the dogs live in because they want you to feel sorry for them so you can buy a dog. It’s psychological abuse and in the end it is about money. These people just want money and support a puppy mill. Congratulations to anyone who buys from here saving a sick dog that could have been prevented with proper care in the 1st place. They don’t mention anything about adoption behind the door. They just say you can’t go in there. I am still searching for a dog like Tabitha that seems to be never be found thanks to a hit and run. People care more about drugs and alcohol than looking out for animals. I just hope these people don’t have kids. Psychological abuse on them too. The circle continues. When it ends, nobody knows for it’s about control and power.
If you can afford to save one of their dogs please do as they deserve much better environments than this "store"
one very small cage with 2 pups crammed in was pooping on top of their only blanket (more like washcloth) and the employee stopped and watched and just walked away.
I got my dog here a year ago and it is the best temperament dog incredibly healthy filled with energy and a genius. He was potty trained on the pee pew pad the first day. I don't suspect puppy mill breeding because of how smart he is. The reviews are so unfair...when I went in there all the dogs were clean and happy. Stay away from NYC as I bought a dog at a puppy store and it was very unhealthy. This place has amazing animals and I just happened to get my best friend. Unfair reviews.
The dog I rescued from the packed New Haven Animal Shelter had better living conditions... please consider looking in the shelters when buying a new pet
I was next door Guitar Center decided to stop in, you're hit with a strong urine scent immediately walking in worse than any shelter I've been to.. the puppies are on wire crates which is normal with no beds. some of them had a small blanket. There are no video handwritten signs everywhere, I snapped one pic though I will post later .
Awful, I have never been to such a horrid place for animals. truly upsetting. animal controll has been called numerous times by SO many locals
This is a horrible place!! Came here to volunteer 2 time! and was shut down due to unexplainable reasons. It's like they don't want their animals taken care of. I do not recommend going to this place, the people are not friendly and do not care about their customers and certainly don't care about the dogs there. Really go anywhere else please!!!!
This is why the real shelters are packed they're charging pedigree prices for puppy mill dogs.
This is also the only place I've seen will ALLOW MONTHLY PAYMENTS FOR A LIVING ANIMAL. So what happens if you miss a payment? You tear that poor dog away from its home?
** if they remove my picture I'll be back to take more wish I had today**
