This is a very welcoming and friendly environment. Its also nice the way so many presentations are by members who have had special and relevant experiences.

Always a Serene setting!! Very much back too nature FEELING!! Inside & outside!! I go too this place every Monday for a "Spiritual 12 Step meeting" and I find that this place is just the best I've ever been too for this type of meeting!! ( Not unless its been a out door meeting!! I'm much appreciated of us being allowed too meet here!! Positive feelings are felt & much calm from my inner being!! And I believe my "HIGHER POWER" Is every where.. However lingers at this Beautiful place!!! Thanks so much for allowing us too be able too keep on using this Glorious Place!!

Find a different place to go. This a UU congregation with corruption at its very heart. I was banished by this UU society for speaking truth to power. I'd recommend staying away. These people are perfectly happy to banish anyone - have driven away multiple people for speaking up - and the minister is at the heart of this corruption. At this congregation, money speaks.

Do not expect pastoral care services, because the minister doesn't like to do pastoral care but refuses to let go of control so the congregation may take it over. Expect social justice efforts only to the extent that you'll find in a comfortable upper middle class highly educated white congregation.

Expect to find a congregation that is moving steadily away from its strong humanist roots.

All are welcome here; this is an inclusive and friendly community that provides a spiritual home for individuals and families alike. Many opportunities for community social justice work.

Edited to respond to Marlene Geary's negative review: I have been a member here for 5 years, and don't have any idea what she's referring to. The minister, Josh Pawelek, is over of the most caring and compassionate folks I know. He came to visit us in the hospital when our baby was in the NICU, and it meant a great deal to me. In my personal experience, pastoral care is excellent. When we needed the support of the congregation the most, pastoral care got us through.

The only benefit to this congregation is that half of the worship services are led by lay people. These are the truly valuable experiences for prospective UUs at this congregation.
